Getting ready to switch my DRW 2500 back to SRW and shopping for OEM wheels. Found some takeoff wheels from a 2014 w/ good tires. Don't know if the bolt pattern is the same 8 on 6.5 or if the hub ID will fit. Any help?

The bolt patterns are the same but you will have to use your lug nuts. Your studs should be 9/16 and in 12 I believe they changed to M14x1.5.

If you get them post up a picture of them on your truck. I've been keeping an eye out for a set locally for my 98. But so far everybody thinks they are made of gold.
What made you decide to go back to a SRW?

We're in the process of selling our 36' toyhauler so I won't need the DRW anymore; just ranch work.

I plan on buying a 2014 3500 SRW at the end of this year so it should be rated to tow the 28'-30' bunkhouse 5th wheel that will replace that monster toyhauler of ours.

I called to double check on the 2014 wheels and some other dude apparently beat me to the deal early this morning. Early bird get's the worm. He wanted $1k for wheels & tires with 90% tread. The 18" wheels have a lot more tire options than 17" in the 285/75-80 range.

I bought a set of 17" take offs from the dealer for my 03 and just the nuts were different, but I wanted to stay with the same size. David

I am going to have a set of POLISHED Factory ALUMINUM wheels with original tires for sale soon from my 2007. I ran them 35,000 mi then took them off and inside stored them. NO scratches or nicks have the lug nuts, two factory chrome SOLID hubcaps and TWO chrome factory caps that I put a center hole in for the free spin hubs. PM me if anyone is interested as they will be in the classifieds soon.

Wow she sure is pretty. I have the same color, sometimes forget what it looks like under all the mud!
Can I have ur tailgate, mine had an argument with my 5th wheel and LOST:-laf
What I really want to ask is which freespin kit did you go with and are you happy with it?

Thanks much,

John

My tail gate has been replaced TWICE! First time was from backing into a BIG Oak tree and the second time was from a guy backing into it in a parking lot.
I have the EMS hub kit on it now with absolutely NO problems. One of the BEST mods a guy can do to a Dodge 4X4! I have a new set of DynaTrac hubs I am going to put on and sell the EMS set.

Oh yeah, now I see it says right there you have EMS. I've pretty much decided on a DynaTrac set. If I can get away from the rigs long enough to get time to install them. We are drilling like mad out here in W. Texas.

So now I have to ask...what is a TIPM saver?

The TIPM saver is a relay/circuit protected box that I built up and sold about 30 of them. They wired into the tow light circuits of 2006 and later trucks and isolated the tow light plug from the vulnerable TIPM (Total Integrated Power Management). If you encountered a short in the trailer light circuit, it tripped or blew out the expensive TIPM. It also gave me brighter trailer lighting.
