1981 Jeep Scrambler Engine Questions

Just got one of these trucks in at my work, crew cab 4x4. Coil spring suspension in the rear. Has a lot of power, rides incredible. It is a base model and it still has nice options, power everything, nice stereo, etc.. Haven't hauled anything huge on it yet, had 16 bucks of structural scaffold in the bed with all the components and rode like a dream. I am not in the market for a new truck nor will I ever be, but if I was I wouldn't shy away from this thing, I'll never have a diesel newer than the one I currently have

Sticks has been writing an excellent long term report on his 3500 6.4L Hemi. It's a great read if you haven't had a chance to check it out.

Man, I am within a whisker of buying a 2500 CC SB 4x4 Tradesman w/6.4 and 4.10. I really miss my '05 CTD, but I just can't justify the cost of the diesel for my current purposes. Trying to sell a car privately versus trade, but the local economy sucks.
