2014 Block heater plug

Where is it hidden? My truck has the cold weather package. The owners manual says the block heater plug is located behind the grill near the headlight. I've been looking for an hour and I can't find it. Can someone offer a clue?

Had the same question and researched it with the Diesel tech at the dealer. The plug is on the right side tucked inside the bumper (chrome bumper on mine) just to the left of the tow hook.

Yeah, feeling blind for the plug is lots of fun, and with the the cover on it your fingers don't register that it's the plug.

Does this mean they don't all have a heater? Before we travel north on vacation I would like to confirm. Haven't found the plug but now have an idea where to start looking since my manual says when to use it but not how and where. LOL! Glad I wasn't the only one who couldn't find it.

That's funny. What good is a heater without a power cable. At least I'm not crazy, because I can't find that thing even after watching a YouTube video about it.

You can buy the cord for it on amazon or eBay for around 13.95 dealer wanted 65.00 for cord and 35.00 to install, install yourself , takes a few minutes.

Many trucks will never see cold climate.

The cord and cover Genos sells is great. *Is placed in the bumper cutout and has flip up cover had it on *the 01 and now the 17 no more groping around for it.
