Owners Manual states you can make the rear console 12 v receptacle" hot" without the ignition ON by switching the fuse. Unfortunately it doesn't tell you to switch the fuse "90 and "91 with what, anybody tackled this before, Thanks Bob Nelson

Thanks to Gsbrockmans thread my issue with the rear console power is solved, thanks guys for your input, as always, appreciate it, Bob Nelson

Good to hear you got this figured out. I swapped the spots with the fuse a few months ago. Wish you could make each of the receptacles this way, but glad you can at least do one. Allowed me to use 2 12v electric blankets when "camping" in the truck during subzero temperatures over New Years, as well as keep my 12v fridge cold with the truck off during a road trip the month before.

Out of curiosity....what amps /watts do the blankets draw and what amps / watts does the fridge draw???

If I remember correctly the blankets pull about 3 amps each, and the fridge pulls around 6 maybe. I'd have to verify. I do know at least with the blankets I physically measured the amp draw myself because the first time I used them I wanted to calculate if they'd last the entire night based on the amp hours of the Optima battery I had them attached to. It's also know from my testing it's not a consistent load (the blankets). It's about 3 amps for say 30 seconds, then no load for say 10 seconds, and so on. It was last year I tested it so I don't remember the exact numbers.
