2015 Ram 2500 6.4 Hemi oil temp codes

I keep getting a trouble code for circuit problems regarding my oil temperature. I had assumed these trucks didn't really have a temp sensor for oil..............or do they? It happens when the temps are really cold. The temp readout will --- out and if I shut down and restart immediately it will register temp. If I keep driving it will pop a cel. Any ideas if its a temp rationality code or are these trucks really fitted with an oil temp sensor? I forgot the code but will post it when I get a minute.

Sorry I just saw this. Hemi does have actual oil temp sensor. It is located right near the oil filter.

Hey Sag, thanks for replying. I had just figured this out yesterday believe it or not. Turns out it’s a temp rationality code or range performance problem as the oil temp works fine above -30. Below that it does strange things. I’m not going to fool with it.
