Hello
quick question. Will the stock rims from a 2016 3500 SRW. Fit a 2013 3500 SRW. 275/70/18.

I found a set of stock rims and tires off a 2016 with only 8000 miles on them. For $1000 do you think this is a good buy??

my present rims have winter studded tires on them .. I would like to have a second set of Rims and tires for the summer season!

Thank you
chris

I had a '02 dually a while back and was in the same situation as you. I found a set of 17" dually wheels and tires for $800 and bought them. I had already done the research and kind of knew they would fit. As long as they are the same size rims and will fit the studs you should have no problem. I think I read somewhere that from '02 and up the wheels are interchangeable to 3rd and 4th gen.

I bought 2014's on Ebay and they fit on my 2013. Ram hasn't changed lug bolt configurations in quite some time. And there is plenty of room in the wheel wells as well.

I bought Four 18 inch rims with stock tires for about $1300. Tires had good tread. Barely used. I guess someone wanted to put new rims and oversize mudders on their new 2014.

They didn't come with Center Caps tho. Still using the center caps from my old 17 in rims. They do have 1/8-3/16 space between the new rims and caps. Where on the old rims, there was no space.

Thanks .. I think $1000 is a pretty good deal ??
It sounds like a good deal with only 8,000 miles on them but if they have the Firestone tires they wont last long. I have 15,000 miles on mine and keep them rotated every 5,000 and they are just about wore out! I hope you get better mileage out of yours... Good luck and post some pics if you can?

I wonder why some folks are getting poor mileage out of the OEM Firestones and others not. I have 18k on the oem Firestones and they are not even half worn down.

Thanks for all the help. I tow 3 different trailers on a regular basis. My stock firestone tires that came with the truck lasted about 38000 miles. So now I have a studded set of tires on rims and a set of summer tires on rims. I can only hope the TPM system will work when I put the 2016 rims on the truck!
