Some of you know that Ram bought my 2011 Longhorn back for NADA plus 10% so I ordered a 2016 crew, DRW limited. It;s here and I grabbed it yesterday. Wow, this baby is set to tow. I only have about 30 miles on it, but I love it. 2 setting for the EB and the Asin transmission is awesome. Love the aluminum cover on the rear diff. 4.10 in there. My 5th wheel is only 14k GVW and we don't get that heavy at all. But I believe in over kill. Need to add the super hitch and the tie downs for the camper and grab a B & W 5th wheel hitch for the in bed pucks. The dealership is putting on my mud flaps in a bit. Love the 8.3 radio. I'll try to get pics up.

That's a BEAUTY! Personally I would remove and sell the NEXEN's and install a set of MS2's. I did at 200 miles on my LongHorn and sold the NEXEN's for $650 on CL. Next I would Change out to a LongHorn Grill and de badge the "RAM" from the tailgate and last de-badge the RAM 3500 HD badges on the sides. Of course I would leave the big "C" !
That IMHO would be the perfect LIMITED.

That is the whole story, FCA had to pay NADA retaul plus 10% because they did not notify me and a bunch of others about recalls. I love the 2011 but I like this one more.
I just ordered a 30k super hitch with frame mount front and rear hold downs for the AF. Also ordered the B&W RVK3600 for the 5th wheel. I have to take it to the dealer and they will install the mudflaps I bought for free. Can't wait to take a trip with it.

Can't economically de-badge the "RAM" from the tailgate....there's two holes per letter fastening / indexing the letters to the tailgate.

Good to know! The part that bothers ME the most is the grill. Nice to have options!!!

A guy that's a sales manager at a RAM dealership in Bunker Hill, IN had a case of "curiosity killing the cat" and removed the access panel on the inside portion of the tailgate and discovered the attachment process, as he knew people would most likely want to do just that.....remove the lettering.
