Getting ready for a long trip and packing a few fluids just in case. Which antifreeze should I run in the truck I can't tell from the owners manual. Will this work#ad
. And dot3 or 4 brake fluid

I buy my from NAPA and it is compatible for the Cummins engine. I make sure that it is HOAT compatible also.

Genuine Chrysler 68163848AB Coolant Antifreeze, this is the pure stuff you mix 50/50 with distilled water so it actually makes 2 gallons. The 50/50 diluted stuff costs about the same per gallon but then you only have 1 gallon. About $25 on Amazon.

2013 and up use OAT not HOAT. Never mix the two. 68163848AB is the 10 year/150000 mile antifreeze.

That's new one on me I really did not keep up with all of the fluids changes for the newer trucks.

But I do know that a lot of service facilities do not even care what they put in any vehicle. I have notice at NAPA that there are different coolants for different make of cars now, not just the general anti-freeze that use to work for all vehicles.
