My 2016 Ram had a wind noise in the sunroof. Checked with dealer and was told Ram had issued a repair bulletin on 2016 sunroofs. Dealer received a new glass over night and installed it yesterday. Asked the mechanic if he could see a difference between the two and he said the replacement glass had a rubber strip surrounding the enire glass that the original one was missing. Wind noise gone.

I bought a 2016 Wednesday and drove it 500 miles from the Alabama dealer back to the Houston area yesterday. I didn't notice any wind noise, so I guess the fix must have made it to production trucks.

I would hope so. My truck was an early 2016 build(August, 2015). Still might ask your dealer next time your in for service.

Rusty traded trucks? I didn't think he would EVER do that!! Congrats Rusty! Let me know how it pulls my Mobile Suites 38RSSA that you bought!!! Ken Irwin

I know of another 2016 owner here locally who got his truck in December 2015 that had to have his sun roof glass swapped out due to excessive water leakage. Water was dripping from the passengers side grab handle screw cover.

Details of the new ride are in my signature below - this thing is rated to pull any 5th wheel I would ever own. 39,100 GCWR, 14,000 GVWR and 30,050 trailer tow. I found it in dealer stock in Alabama, their Priceline estimator screwed up quoting me a trade-in value, but Priceline and the dealer honored the quote, so I bought a $73K+ sticker price new truck for substantially less than $29K with my 2011 as a trade-in. It was the first time in my life I ever had a dealer over the barrel, but it was a price I couldn't turn down. If I parked it next to Cummins12V98's truck, you couldn't tell the difference - I'll try to get some pictures up, but I'm busy installing a B&W Companion RVK3600 right now. :)

With all the previous Ram 3500 duallies I've owned, this is my first ever 4x4. This will be interesting....

Was told yesterday by the dealer there is a directive from Ram to replace the glass, no other option. Rubber molding, that mine was missing, is a part molded to the glass. My truck has not seen much weather this winter, so I guess that was lucky. Seems to me if you can hear the wind, rain water would follow.

Rusty, CONGRATULATIIONS!!!!!!!!!

Dang dude you have good taste. I did two that looked alike also. No one knew I had bought a new truck.

Since he is old and probably does not know how to run a computer let's all pretend this is his truck and MS.

Rusty start a new thread on here about your new truck and please do the same on RV.net to give the Blue Oval guys something to drool over!!!

Snoking-I am so over taking mine out of the bed,I have to disassembly it and piece meal it out.I am going to set me up a way to install a winch like you have so I can lower on to a cart and then just slide it in to it's place in the garage.I have a discount coupon from Northern tool,it is time to buy a winch.Did you go through the ceiling and attach to the garage beams....Rusty nice truck it will serve you well.

We extended the garage 12.5' 12 years ago, so*I have two chains that got over two sandwiched W roof trusts at the location. Hoist is a 880 pound HF unit. Works well. I do not need the double fall for the hitch weight, but it slows things down. I also lift the yard waste container into the truck with it. DW really loads it up. Garage has a 9' ceiling which helps.
