2016 super duty goes up in flames

Rumors are already out that the next generation Super Duty will be clad in aluminum like it's sibling the F-150.
I'm curious to the rumors of going back to the traditional style of rear fenders on the DRW.

I have to concede that I sat in a near new F-250,loaded and the seats were extremely comfortable.
The tilt and telescoping steering wheel is a plus too.Long overdo in trucks.
Tin can doors though like everything I suppose.
The shop was doing a Carli setup w/full leaves retaining the stock control arms.

I think I could really appreciate an aluminum body around here. No more rusty fenders, doors, quarters, rockers, cab corners, floor pans, bed floors, or tailgates to try to fight off year in and year out.

Time will tell on the aluminum deal, as, while it may not rust, corrosion/exfoliation is a definite issue. Ask anyone in the aviation industry. It'll be interesting to see how it proves out long-term.

As the OP noted, extremely rapid oxidation is ALSO a problem!!!
