Got new Michelin tires so took truck to Firestone to have alignment checked. Turns out front alignment is fine. Rear axle is out of alignment and Firestone has no way of correcting it. Have an appointment next week to bring to dealer and will see what they have to say. They are already trying to tell me they want to charge me for front end alignment. Which I then said I don’t need. Any one else ever find this problem? Or even have it checked?

IRRC alignments were always covered 12/12 how many miles do you have and how many months have you had it?

26,000 now. Bought lifetime alignment from Firestone at less than 1,000 miles. First alignment the front was out of spec and rear ok. This time front ok and rear out. Firestone mechanic doesn’t know how rear suspension can be adjusted. Was 12 months old in September.

What is off? If there are no loose parts it had to have been bent by someone, especially if it was good the first time. I would also suspect the machine/technician.

We were on a long trip this year. There were many bumpy roads, but nothing that we charged over. Will see what dealer has to say.

Took truck in to dealer. They aligned axle with some shims under warranty. Now front end out of alignment according to them. Taking into Firestone store (bought lifetime alignment) tomorrow.
