2018 instrument panel comes on when you touch the door handle?

I was just outside and I noticed that the instrument panel was lit up, I don't remember if I touched the door handle or not, just seemed odd. I have the keyless enter and go system, don't know if that has anything to do with it, I didn't have my keys with me.

Yes. My 14 Durango does it too. Basically you’re waking up the vehicle. Wait till you wash it and water hits the door handle when the fob is on you. The door locks go crazy.
