Experience with a 2016 2500 Laramie. The tow mirrors from 1AAuto are decent replacements, the chrome is a bit funky after 3+years and the right folding motor only half works. Ram would not provide aftermarket tow mirrors for my truck for some unknown reason.
When you flip the mirrors up the left/right/up/down button is backwards and from my understanding Ram does not offer a software fix. There is also an additional support bracket (available from Ram) used on the tow mirror installation for additional stability, but not required. Other than above they are plug and play and I would order again.
