A couple of months back, I totalled my 2015, 3500 Laramie. It was a very sad event indeed as it was a very nice truck. Fortunately, I had replacement value insurance coverage and so, cheque in hand, I went to my favourite dealer here in Vernon (Vernon Dodge) and after a couple of weeks of searching, bought one of the first 2019 3500s in our region.

I have to say that this is the finest vehicle I have ever had the pleasure of driving. The seats are more comfortable, the 12 inch display is awesome and the vehicle information centre even tells me when a DPF regeneration is taking place (very infrequently I think....). Turbo lag is almost non-existent compared to my 2015, 2011 and 2005 3500s. Fuel milage is outstanding. My wife and I just returned from a trip to Alberta. Hand-calculated fuel mileage for the last leg of the trip, through the mountains and with a fair amount of road construction idling, was an astounding (I think anyway!) 26.22 MPG (imperial), 21.83 MPG (U.S.), 10.77 liters per 100km (metric) over 627 km (390 miles). This was with a light load of maybe 600 pounds but still, in my view, outstanding.

So far so good!

Great report! Congrats on the new truck, I believe you're the first on the TDR to report on one. Be nice to see a pic.

I'm not surprised to hear it's more refined and possibly the best yet.

Thanks for the info.

Cheers, Ron

CGordon, congrats on the new truck!!!

I drove this one at May Madness, it's a BigHorn priced at 73k. Nice but Not as nice as my LongHorn. Waiting to see what the 2020 LongHorns look like before deciding if I will hang on to my 15 or not.

Nice truck, Congrats.

I looked at a silver 2019 3500 before I bought my silver 2018 2500.... I'd have bought that 2019 if it did not have the RAM box on it. You scored one with a RAM box delete, Lucky guy!
