Anyone else having a leaky cummins? Leaking from the top towards the back somewhere and making its way down the back of the transmission. Making one hell of a mess in my driveway.....

the oil cooler o rings on mine were bad. 2018 2500. leaked down past oil filter then coated entire underneath of engine. and trans. only took dealer 3x to fix it. good luck comrade! :)

Exactly what truck are we working with here???
And, really impossible to tell much from your description where it may be leaking from.
Most leak complaints you hear about on the 6.7 Cummins are either the rear main seal or front cover seal.

Not sure this would be the issue on a new truck, but on mine, I had the transmission adapter o-ring leaking down appearing like RR main or possible oil pan gasket! Thankfully Mopar extended warranty took care of it! Just wanted to explain what happened to me. Started with oil pan and when that didn't fix it, was back 1 week later and madder than a wet hen! Won't use local dealer for service again! Their tech does good work, just the whole STEALERSHIP issues! Worked at dealerships in the past and knew how to fight the battle with warranty when called and told warranty wouldn't cover when they had truck prior warranty expiration! Good hunting on oil leak. Hope it's something simple. Must say that I'm jealous of the new trucks creature comforts! One day I'll upgrade.

Yeah, I am really liking the 20' soo much more comfortable than my 3rd gen was, quieter, miles just melt away.. and now that my son is growing up, he has was more room in the back seat so no more complaints there..

2019 ram 2500 limited 4x4 cummins. 15k miles, I just wanted to see if anyone else had any issues with leaky trucks. I heard there is a problem that dodge knows about with these and the 2020 cummins leaking from the timing cover. I was just saying I got a leak up top of the engine towards the back and basically for everyone to keep a look out. Its in a hell of a place to get to so its really hard to get a rag in there to wipe it clean to see exactly where it is leaking from. I have had it in to the dealer once already but they still did not find it so she is set up to go back in.

No leaks on mine yet
20,000 miles

Well, I don't recall seeing anyone else reporting a leak from the area you describe. Only thing I could think of there would be the rocker cover gasket.
Keep after the dealer since it's still under warranty.

My 18, 40k miles, is in the shop for an oil leak in front area, possibly timing cover, crank seal, or oil pan. I would fix it myself but its under warranty. I don't know why people can't build a motor that wont leak before 100k.

Restriction on Hazard Substances, RoHS makes building good sealants an issue. We see the same issue in Electrical components. The removal of lead from solder caused solder joints start to fail after about 5 years when the switch over to RoHS compliant solder happened.

Mine started leaking from the rear main just prior to the 3/36 warranty expiration, was covered under warranty. No issues since, keeping my fingers crossed.

A rear main leak would be covered by the 5/100 powertrain warranty, not the 3/36 bumper to bumper warranty.
So, you would have had quite a bit of coverage left in case of further issues.

Just got mine back, an 18, 40k miles, after a week, and was all warranty work.
oil galley pug, head gasket, refilled coolant, changed oil, and filter.
It was leaking from the rear and running to the front of engine. Dealer offered me 44k for it on trade, I paid 49k for it 3 years ago. Tempting

That's interesting. I have never seen a Cummins leak oil from the head gasket on a stock truck.

Yes I have my doubts also. I checked it out pretty good, and found the fan nut gouged with an air chisel, and new silicone on the cover under the water pump.
It is not leaking any more, but sounds like a warranty scam against Ram. There is no way the head was pulled, or even the valve cover.
