After replacing my batteries today, I have the usual infotainment resets to do, as well as a nonfunctional backup/surround camera system which I am hoping will return based on posts I turned up in search. But I also have a really weird issue with the HVAC controls - the temp controls won't do anything but toggle between Hi and Lo and while one side gets the temperature of air expected, the other side in our dual-zone system seems to be getting the exact opposite! HOT air out of one side while the other is cool, but not really cold. WTF? Just for fun, the system also flipped which side got the hot air at least once. Has anybody run into this type of behavior after a battery replacement?

Any insights appreciated; we're leaving tomorrow on a trip to Capitol Reef...

Disconnect the battery's again, give 15 minutes time, reconnect, switch ignition on but don't start, give it a minute till all systems are up and working. Then start the engine.

Best you can do aside from a trip to the dealer.

Will give it a shot in the morning... Assume you mean to cycle the start button without depressing the brake (which is accessory on)?

Don’t touch the brake and press the button twice, that’s RUN. ACC is the first press of the button, you can see the position the switch is in by the illuminated labels at the top of it.

When I disconnected the batteries on my 2018 it took a few start cycles to get everything back.
