Coolant in oil? 12 valve

My wife has a 2019 1500. I thought it was pretty cool too, until I passed an 18 wheeler on the freeway. There wasn't any oncoming traffic. As soon as I was past the rear of the trailer the headlights switched to bright, right into the truck driver's mirrors. I don't use it any more.
Does you model have the side proximity sensors with arrows in the rearview mirrors?

Actually with the projector headlights you have it would have never projected light into the trucks mirrors. They angle down and the beam is very flat so it points ahead and down, and not up where the light is "wasted" or could blind anything above the height of your headlamps. Mine on my 18 and my wife's car work perfectly.

Yes it does.

Tell that to the truck driver who made a point of switching to his high beams when I was in front of him.

LOL - that meant you are safe to change back onto the right lane.
Truckers do that, common help.
I get this a lot over here, day- and night time.
Maybe the truck driver responded to the inadvertent high beams by turning his headlights from the courteous-flash warm mode to the continuous retinal-roast mode along with unheard inappropriate vocal protests.;)

IIRC you can still over ride the auto high beam by flipping the multifunction switch to the low beam position when you detect the high beams inappropriately activating.

I'm well aware of that. Leaving the high beams on is a message of displeasure, as PBJ2500CTD suggested. The real professionals turn their headlights off, then on, as a message it is clear to change lanes. Only rookies flash their high beams at night.

Which is what I did, but being caught off guard it wasn't a lightning fast movement. The truck had less than 500 miles on it at the time. It was my first night time drive in it.

I guess it might depend if GAmes has a all-new 2019 1500, or the classic 1500.

The classic 1500 doesn't have projector high beams, only low beams.

Back to the TPMS subject. Sidewall max inflation is 51 psi. the truck was delivered with about 37 on all four according to the monitor. Today I inflated the fronts to 42 and the rear to 47 for the car hauler I have hooked up. No noises or lights to tell me they aren't at the same pressure.

Your above the threshold, so no Alarm.

Could you expand on that theory? Threshold of what? PSI difference front to rear, difference in sidewall max pressure to actual pressure? The OP asked about a "system that constantly went off if you put tires on that required a pressure less than 80psi."
Obviously the 1500 tires don't fit that bill, but there has to be some crossover.

Look i have 2019 Ram Laramie air pressure in all four tires at delivery was 84psi, i lowered all four tires to 60 psi no alarm or lights flashing. The yellow sticker inside left door frame system 60 psi so i am within the safety side or just at the limit before alarm.

The TPMS has a low pressure threshold and if it falls below that there is warning, it could be 100psi over inflated with no warning, only if it goes below the minimum pressure set by the factory will it alert the driver.

Thank you.
