Yeah, wrong terminology. What I meant to report is that it isn't a recall, merely a bulletin for dealer techsTSB stands for Technical Service Bulletin.
It’s not uncommon for TSB’s to be informational and not require any maintenance.
Yes, I realize that the bulletin is pretty clear.John the Tsb is for the techs in the field to be able to recognize the new style injection pump has been installed. It requires a different software to operate than the the original pump

Thanks, I stand corrected, didn't know thatTSB’s are never recalls.
Only if they've used up the bad ones first. It they're building my truck as I type this, would you bet I'll be getting the updated/symmetrical rotor pump?
You win first prizeOnly if they've used up the bad ones first.![]()
thanks for the infoI've got cabin fever... It's 102'F outside and with COVID, we ain't been RVing, hosting or being hosted by a bunch of friends. HUMOR is the only salvation!![]()
Looking at the pump just below and to the rear of the uppermost pumping cylinder, the housing will have a single dot machined into the case for the updated pump. All the other pumps can have multiple dots in that location. So now that I have the " Oh no, is my Injection pump gonna go out" worry, which one of these is the "good one" and how do I find out which one I have??
