205 shift knob

My shifter knob for my t-case has come apart and the gear indicator in the middle is gone. Does anyone have one of these laying around. Dealer wants $30 but it has been on backorder for two months. I will pay that to anyone the has one. Thanx, Dan

Refresh my memory...

Is the 5 speed shift knob & the T-box knob one in the same? I think I might still have my Trans Knob floating around somewhere from when I installed the T- Handle Shifter.



If I can find it... . It's yours!

The transfer case knob and the transmission are two different animals. But thanx for looking and at least its back at the top.

Actually, I believe the knobs are the same, only the disc in the middle is the same. The threads are almost always the same, my cousin used to swap the knobs from the trans to the transfer just to look funny. You should be able to get just the disc from the Dodge dealer and glue it into the transmission knob.

The threads are probably the same but physically they are different. The knob ordered originally was for a 208 t-case. The threads and everything is different on it. The problem was that the disc was gone otherwise I could have salvaged the old knob with a new disc. However today I finally recieved the knob and it was the last one in the country. $56 later I have a stinking knob! What a pain!
