In Aug of 15 I was able to gain access to the FCA DIST center here in Plymouth MN , No Cameras or any type of recording devices are allowed, it very secure for obvious reasons.. I was very snoopy I counted 65 3.0 VM motors, I returned Mid Sept 15 and ALL were gone , keep in mind their was other created Motors their But NO 3.0 VMs. At that time you waited 4-12 weeks just to get the Motor. Back in Aug 15 1 local owner Ed puke itself to death in Brainerd MN, the Dealer in Brainerd Was able to get 1 of those 65 3.0 out of Plymouth and the owner had his ED back in 15 Days.
The 3.0 is plagued with 3 years of QC problems, it either a hero or zero Motor...
Its very simple If the Justice dept sides with the EPA , every ED sold in N/A was Illegal, The law is clear on this it $40K per vehicle fine, In addition each owner will have legal right's to bring actions against FCA, their are already 2 law firms with class actions ( I don't join any type of class acts in most classes its just a $ for the law firm )
If the Justices Dept sides with the EPA, FCA will offer incentives to appease owners.
Sure You can lower the HP in the 3.0 to Meet the Certification , but who wants 180hp 1/2 ton 1500. I Purchased a 250HP truck and if it FCA violated the W/S laws their going to refund the entire sale price Plus additional expenses and hope I don't seek additional damages ( Which I won't just stating their available to pursue if FCA wants to fight it will be at their $$$ not mine)
