230330. transmission starting to slip 2nd /3rd ??help on price check

well took my 05 2500 4x4 to the dump ,on the way back2nd and 3rd slipped going up the hill and reverse is slow ,? what is the general price range of a new/rebuilt t5 speed auto the old one pulled the 5th wheel for 230330 mi i know i am lucky. deep pan,trans cooler,temp gage, #@$%! in northern cal.

Sounds like the torque converter is going. You are looking at 5k . That would be triple disk, valvebody, billet input shaft, master rebuild kit. I felt more confident in pulling my 14k fiver with my gone through.

1st guy said dodge $7,000+ next $4500.new converter, rebuild trans, next 2nd ,3rd band (adj. /replace) $500.00,next one govenor sw? 2/3 band r/replace.???? $5/600.00 ?? lots of guessing W T F ? IT IS will have to ask at may madness and see if i can get any more info, let you know in may.
