Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 24 Valve Electronic Fueling Boxes...Which is best?

Diesel Dynamics TTPM, Edge EZ, or the Van Aaken. Love to hear the pros & cons of each. I know that their not cab adjustable like the Edge Comp but is one better than the other, or are they all essentially the same.

Used prices vary on each so interested in any info you can provide.

There are a lot of threads on this subject. You could read for hours. Personally I run the PowerMax 3 Adjustable. No regrets.

I also have tried all three and the power puck. VA is by far the best. I even chose my VA when it was time to stack a box on my Powermax3. That is where it really shines!

Don't forget about the APB box that Blue Chip sells as well. For under $500, I believe it's one of the best bargains out there and its FULLY adjustable with a little poteniometer mounted on the dash. Chip claims 125hp, I believe. I didn't get quite that much but I was very impressed with the 98 hp and 210 rear wheel torque that it gave my engine.

If your putting it on a '99, there is no void sticker on the VP-44 harness. I run a VA with a module & elbow like its low end also.

Excellent when towing/hauling. Gauges are a must as I can get past 1250 degrees easily on steep grades. Boost gets up to 27# but I don't have the elbow turner all the way in.

High end? Had a brand new Firebird try to not let me pass him the other day on the highway, he was looking to show off his new rig, I was pulling away and he bailed. When I slowed for my turn up ahead I waited to make eye contact, he wouldn't even look over. I don't go around trying to race anyone, but the VA came in handy there. I can only attest to this box as I've tried no others.
