Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 24 Valve Head #'s

The head for a 99 to 00 has the same part number...



01 and 02 have their own part number...



Does anyone know what the difference would be...



Will a 02 head bolt onto an 01?

Hardened valve seats (if I remember right).

Yes they are interchangeable.

The ports are better in the newer heads. I have never ported a 2002 head, but would assume the ports are as good as the 2001.
