baught a fast truck in the US with Mark Kendrick twins, a DTT transmission, a 4-link rear with disks and a detroit locker. Unfortunately the seller forgot to mention the cracked block (even he wrote a thread about it in the TDR) and I had to replace the 53 block. Used a fresh 12 valve and installed a huge P-pump off a Saetek 10. 3 L Offshore Race motor which has been calibrated by the local Bosch guys to match my truck. Now the Hardware is installed but I have a bunch of cables and the computer lying around and I wonder what to do with the TPS, the signals for the gauges, the cruise control and what else to worry about.

The truck is a 99 automatic.

Its a complicated job from what I've come across , I would 1st do a search hear , I am hesitant to point you to some I know that have , because of time being an issue & and they may value there research , I do not think it is my place to volunteer there time , but hopefully , some one will come up with info ,
It would seem like a tough deal to have a CTD there & trying to mods , but then most of what I get has to be shipped also .

Well, I did some research here, but to make it easy to myself I was looking for a nicely walkthrough... . :)

Thanks for poiting me in the right direction.

Ow, and shipping things is no problem, neither paying for it.

I think that I will need to hook up some kind of tps, mayby get a wiring harness from a 12V.

Any help is welkom, and on top of that I really would like to know how it´s going to run with the p pump

thanks

Your also kinda by your self , because you've got most all the wiring that the 24v has [ body/trans/injectors ] but none of the advantages of the 24v eng. , so your going to have a problem doing what others have done [ they used a 24v eng. ] , I'm stating the obvious just in case , the computer is programed to control the trans & eng. in relation to one an other depending on the conditions , speed , temp , TPS ect.

Can't tell form the picture if it was before or after the 53 block ,
So at least your with others doing the P pump , you may need to reflash the computer ,
If you PM me I'll give you a shop I know has done some of this , I would suggest that you let him know that his info has value & he has a lot of parts old & new around ,
I usually like to keep on the site with info , but being that he is a buis. I would hate to see him get a blizzered of calls ,

I'd give Amianthus a PM. He has done this conversion and I believe, but not sure, he has working cruise.

Is the truck an auto or a manual?

Not to change the subject, but the looks of those spaghetti lines (woops I mean injector lines) would scare me a bit. Hopefully those weren't stock 12v or 24v lines bent to fit in the field? Don't think I'd strike out on any long road trips with those
