You still never answered the original question . So again can the gasket be used until the right part gets here
I don't have any first hand experience with the open or divided gasket. However, per DAP you can even mill the divider, use the open gasket and get more top end performance with a slightly slower spool. So, I would think the open gasket you installed would be fine, Some quotes about it.
"Glad you are up and running. Its a little late, but its a good idea to drill or notch the divide on the turbine housing to allow the turbo to gate both volutes of turbo. In stock form only the front 3 cylinders are gated on an hx35."
"I will slow your spool up a little as it will reduce the pulsing from the manifold, but EGT at WOT and back pressure will go down."
