Competition 241DHD vs 271 TCase front flange seal size?

Does anyone know if the front seal on a 241DHD tcase is the same size as the seal on a 271 TCase?



I want to ditch the CV joint setup in the front driveshaft as it is now the weak point in that shaft.



Haisley's has a replacement 1410 flange, but they only know for sure that their kit which includes a seal will work with a 241DHD.



Does anyone know?

You can try going to www.advanceautoparts.com and fill in the corresponding vehicle info (that came with a 241DHD t-case), and look up front output shaft seal. Then open a 2nd page fill in a 3rd gen vehicle info with the 271 and look up the same thing. Just see if the same part number is listed for both?



I've done this in the past for different things and had some luck.
