I've done the searches and can't find any info on this. I just bought a brand new set of Michelin LTX M/S 245/75R-16E. Now they tell me my rims aren't true. I've found some alloys from an '01. I know about the brake drum fitment problem but my question is how will my BRAND NEW 245's work on the 8" alloys? When I say "brand new" I mean less than 500 miles but not "brand new" enough to get them to swap for 265's.

Thanks!

Scott

When I bought my truck I installed 235/85's on the factory alloys, and they looked fine. They're a little taller and narrower then your 245's.

I'm wondering what size tires the '01 2wd's came with on the alloys?
