Archived 24V Died

Getting up to highway speed yesterday, check engine light came on and truck lost power. Had it towed to a nearby friends house. He called his 'mechanic friend' who brought over a Snap on reader to read the codes. Before I had a chance to write them down, he cleared them. The only ones remaining are 0215 and 1689. He said there had been more. The truck cranks, has FP, but won't start. I am guessing the VP44 but would like to know some more trouble shooting to confirm it before buying the pump. Anyway to find out the cleared codes. He did not remember them?

Cracked #3 injector line and cranked. IT got wet. Did the same to #1, it stayed dry.

You could do some basics to make sure , like fuel filter , check fuel coming from Lift Pump -disconnect line , but when you cracked the lines and said that one was getting wet , you need a lot more than wet , you need some flow & pressure .
I've never heard of getting back cleared codes , unless you could get the truck runing and have the same problum again .
