Greetings.
This is my first posting. I have been driving a '97 3500 4x4 for the last five years as a full time daily driver. I recently picked up a complete 24valve and 5600 package that had been pulled out of a rolled 2500 with 60K on the odometer. With it came the full exhaust w/ brake, driveshafts etc. and a Rubbermaid box filled with the entire wiring harness mojo brain boxes and all the connectors.
So... the question I have for you folks is just what does it take to get this thing installed into a vehicle that used to be powered by a 4BT? Could it be as simple as making sure all the connectors are made up and that 12vdc is going into all the right spots?
Be gentle and speak slowly to me. I'm going to try to get this going myself with the minimum amount of cussing and wrench throwing.
