Posted this over in the first gen forum and didn't get too many replies so i though i'd open it up to everybody.

Hey guys, i have heard that of a 24v head being put on our motors. I was wondering how hard this is to do. What is nessesary to complete the swap. And what are the flow difference of the two heads. Is one year of the 24v better than anyothers? Just looking for more flow. Thanks guys.

I believe that you would also have to swap pistons because the injector spray patterns are different. I think most guys have decided this idea is more trouble than it's worth.

yep. the combustion recess in the piston isn't in the right location. on the 24v engines, the injector is dead center in the bore, on the 12v it is offset away from the camshaft by about 3/8" off center [looking from pictures to est. the distance offset]
