Archived 24v stopped dead

Sitting alongside I-80 near Brooklyn ia, acceleration pedal went dead, and it died. I have 15 psi of fuel pressure. Codes it is throwing is 1693 (of course) 1689,0216, and 0618. My book does not have the 1689, or the 0618, my gut tells me it's the vp44, but want to eliminate any simple elec problems before I call a hook

Just got going, finally got some help in the form of a multimeter, figured out the relay got hot and had melted internally. Swapped the horn relay out and it fired right up

Glad you were able to ID the source of the sudden death. I'd be concerned about the P0216 and the melted relay, something is drawing too much amperage.

Get those codes cleared and keep an eye on it.
