24V to michancial

I have a project in a older truck that isn't a dodge ... 87 to be exact and Im looking for a 6bt as a perfect donner motor and have been wondering if a 24V can be converted to a mechanical motor. AKA loose all of the electronic stuff.



My other option would be to keep the electronics but then my next question would be getting it to run ... how much can one strip off to get down to the basics of start and run.



Perfect donner would be a 6bt, with a SAE #3 bellhousing... with around 200+ HP ... Ahhhhh... dreaming of the day.



Sorry I have to admit im at the very begining of my research and Im sure this has been discussed at length.

Do a search on P-pumping a 24 valve. I think that's been discussed before.

Supposedly a CR takes like 2 wires to get the engine to run, power and ground. I think that would be as good as anything for a conversion.
