Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 24v with kdp

How many have had the kdp problem with their early 24v engines? My truck is a 1999 so I plan on checking it this summer.

I also plan on adding fuel,pyro, and boost gauges before I make any mods of any kind to this truck.

There have been a few '99s that I have heard about. Do a search on the 24v forum. I did mine at a bomb party for piece of mind.
