Anyone ever heard of a fuel leak only when running that appears to come from the top of the fuel tank and not only drips, but also wets the under side of the bed?

I dropped off my truck at the dealer this evening. Only thing I can think of is I put 2 oz of power service biokleen in with my fill up last week. 2 oz should be good for 40 gallons. But I have only a 31 gallon tank. Puzzled! Is that stuff caustic?
It has been sitting in a plastic container for a couple of years. I would expect fuel system hoses and seals to be stronger than plastic.

Possible. I changed the fuel filters in July. And ironically, the fuel filter was the only thing dry under the bed of the truck. I saw dust on the fuel filter which means it was dry. Even the rear differential was covered in fuel

I towed it to the dealer because I was concerned it would catch fire

The tow truck driver was driving a Ram 3500 Cummins and was shocked at how much diesel was covering the under side of the bed.

On a positive note, it helps prevent rust. I know this due to my 100 gallon bulk tank siphoning itself out into the bed of the truck and leaking thru the bed all over every thing under the truck.

If you manage to catch diesel on fire in a situation like this, let me know.... I'd like to patent that.

Was able to fill up with diesel after the fix.

Advantage of diesel..... no long lines at the designated diesel pump islands. Others waited hours, I was in and out

Will be leaving for N Georhia. Cabin in the Chatahoochee national forest was the only thing available for Irma evacuees

Thx, Snoking!

Been losing sleep over this.

Leaving today and traveling with our new to us rescue pups. Since the pups are not used to long drives, we will break up the trip to N Ga over several days.

We love the truck, but we also have grown fond of our house. I pray we don't have to tow a travel trailer back to Miami!!!!!!

But if we do, I will know what full timing really is!??!!!!

Yikes!
