256mph on Public Highway!

I just heard today some 71-year old dude hit a blistering 256 mph driving an Ultimate Aero on a skinny 2-lane highway . . . and landed right in the record books. The speed run was done a few miles west of Tri-Cities on Highway 221 on Sept. 13th, and was certified by Guinness yesterday. For the first time since 1967, the title of world's fastest production car is now held by an American-built car. . . built by SSC (Shelby Super Cars) right here in West Richland, WA

yes JApol it's a straight stretch but with one gentle curve. . . had to take it around 220mph.



Yes phloop I'm pretty clueless as to what's in my back yard



I oughta drive over to W. Richland and look for SSC, luckily it's a pretty small town.
