i'm not sure that can be accurate i posted about 3 minutes before u and i was wondering the same thing the torque numbers don't add up to the hp increase. It seems like the guy is a fly by night ebay store too. I would like to talk to the people who make the xcellerator and find out the facts not just someone pushing the product. That would be amazing if it was though

I don"t believe it and I also think that it's NOT possible on stock hardware ,ATS Email on that program for the Duramax 270 HP.

here is a return email i got from the company or guy tell me what you think

This is a new product for the Dodge truck from Pacific Performance. The Xcelerator has been around for about a year for the Duramax and has been a very good product with great feedback. The HP numbers are at the flywheel and they are accurate. Pacific is still working out the exact numbers for each level but the total HP is correct. Pacific performs testing on the dyno, in the mountains, sand dunes, drags, sled pulls etc. This is expected to be ready for shipment this week, I have placed auctions to get some exposure out and answer any questions.

Below is the website for Pacific if you would like to read up about them and their products. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank You

"Engineer Joe returned to the staging lanes where he was paired with a Nissan 240SX turbo that was highly modified. Wait till you see the beating our diesel truck put on him as we ran a 7. 41 at 97-mph!"

is that a 17. 41??

yeah i know to run in the 10's your speed is like 120 or 130 in the tens he's setting records over the dragster from cummins

i mean really anyone who runs 97 mph would realistically be running around 17 second i think or not far from it

7. 41 in the 8th. not bad. I've heard of their Duramaximizer for years, one of the first companys to offer performance products for the duramax. 270hp is obtainable, but not realistically with all stock parts, at least not for long. ;)

anyone ever heard of the 1/8 mile?????

Sure have herd of 1/8 mile. It's not too common, but some people run it. My truck does 1/4 in 15. 4 at 93 mph. So actually 97 mph could be low 14, or even high 13's.

I think this would be a good place to start...

"*Horsepower and Torque is represented at the crank"

But your right about the torque #'s they don't sound right at all...

my race car does 105mph in the eight and runs 10. 90s at 123mph in the quarter. so that is one fast durumax, for comparison sake.....

I call these new downloader programs,GTB"S , GO TO YOU BLOW, If you want extreme Buy the loader programs, If you want performance shop elsewere,Make sure you carry that loader with at all times, and hope it does not get stolen or lost. also It will cost you every TSB from that time onward.

is poke with the guy and he said that time was in the 1/8 mile so that's better

and more realistic it's not as fast as i thought he was claiming. He said it runs 11. 38 in the quad so there u have it the programmer still isn't ready yet he said early next week

guys read that web page again, it says that the programmer is not the only thing done to it. it says it has a nitrous system also!!!!??? i wonder how much of that 11. 38 is from the nitrous and how much is just from the downloader.

interesting posts

I was on www.ebay.ca last night and saw this programer and was wondering

if it is for real. Does the bullydog programer offer pinion facter calibration like this one claimes it does? I just paid 85$ to have mine reset for my tires (315/70/17)

Theres an 1/8th strip (actually the straight of a 1/2 mile oval) and it is very popular.

This past weekend (12/5) we had a dyno/drag day here in eastern, NC. There was a D-max there that put down 711 hp on the dyno (a measly 470s on #2 only) and ran 11. 48 @ 118 MPH in the 1/4 mile. That 11. 48 equated to 7. 37 @ 98 in the 1/8 mile. On #2 only he ran 12. 7s, but the truck was stripped. Only a driver's seat, no tailgate, to spare tire, no rear bumper, no center console inside... all extra stuff was stripped off. My old '01 Dodge would run 12. 9s with 460 hp and at full weight, so his #2 times seemed legit. This PPE truck's times seem legit, but a lot of it comes from spraying nitrous. A D-max has a VERY hard time getting over 500 HP on #2.
