275s & EZ = great truck Thanks Piers!!

Just took my first long trip in my the ETH with 275s and the EZ box. WOW I thought I had a great truck before!! With a heavier load and on the same terrain=mountian passes, the mpg has gone up between 1 and 1. 5 mpg. I pull the big passes about 10 to 15 miles per hour faster and the egt is between 100 and 250 degrees cooler!! I have a large camper on the truck and a 9,000# cargo trailer behind and it towes like a little Kenworth!! THANKS PIERS

Stock Clutch?

Is this on a stock clutch or have you bomb'd the clutch as well?

275s & EZ continued

I still have the stock clutch. It seems to be behaving well= no slippage that I can detect. I tend to be unaggressive with the driving of my trucks it seems that if you drive as a race driver would then the clutch gives up under heavy loads. No speed shifting for this old hot rodder!
