Well I finally got my truck on the dyno at Indy! It posted a best HP of 285. 44 on water/meth & 261. 87 on fuel only. They were not able to get a torque number because the rpm was not read, they are going to compute the torque numbers and send them to me. On the chart it looks like peak HP came in at about 76 MPH and stayed there pretty well out to 107 MPH where he lifted. The chart does look cool with the torque flat lined @ 1500 though It was good seeing some of our members there at Indy. Hey Bill, I broke a seat bolt on that 2 to 3 shift, did it sound like 3600 rpm?:D

thats cool. I didnt make it to IRP:mad:. I got rained out on the only day I had availible to go (sunday)

I just dynoed locally and got 181hp/413 ft lbs of torque on my best run. I also ran a quarter mile on the dyno. reaction time of 548 and 60 feet at 2. 07. that made me happy.

Mike got back with me today and said the best him and Dave could come up with was 612 TQ. Does this sound about right with 285. 44 HP?

I was a little lower HP, a little higher Torque @ 258/638 but I have seen 270/550 ish as well. Looks to be in the park.

fun isn't it? congrats.

Ken

TQ sounds low. You should be at roughly 2. 5 times the HP at those levels. Sounds like the hand clcs are a little off the mark. :-laf
