In behind the front wheel on the drivers side of my truck, there's a arm (trailing arm? I think thats what it's called) that runs from the front axle toward the rear about 3 feet. I put 2002 wheels 8" with bfg 295's. When I turn deep the inside of the wheel rubs the arm. Is there any way to fix this??

A 4x4 shop told me about a 2 inch front leveling lift would do the trick. I did not have the $$$ so I stuck with 285's. I saw a rig with the lift, and larger tires, sweet!! :D

A leveling kit would not help because the arms (radius arms? - not sure what they're called with our 4-link suspension) will always stay in the same position relative to the wheels.

Your tire diameter is just so large that the tire reaches the arms on full turn. A common problem with big tires that one easily learns to live with by just not turning quite as sharp. You may be able to adjust stops, but if it is not damaging your tires, an occasional rub is not going to hurt anything.

The only other thing you could do is get rims that offset your tires out a couple inches and get fender flares.
