I bought one after I read the reviews from Circuit City. The thing weighs about 4 lbs, is about an inch thick and is easy on your eyes. The picture quality is GREAT! Better than a 17" CRT monitor that is as big as a TV set. IMO this is a GREAT buy. No complaints. I didn't hook up the built-in speakers though.

Only thing it's missing is a DVI Interface plug. All of the low end LCDs don't have them either. I guess it's an Analog LCD? I would like to see a truly digital picture though.

Staples has one on sale for $299 this week too. I don't know much about it.

EDIT: I spelled Monitor wrong in the subject line. I can't correct it now.

I'll second the recommendation on the Liquidvideo flat panel monitor. Except I bought the 15" for $279 plus $80 mail in rebate. I couldn't believe how much clearer and brighter this monitor was compared to the ones that were next to it. Definately happy with this purchase.

I have a 17" Dell Flat Panel, and I agree what a difference. Much easier on the eyes. I just got it about 2 months ago. Bought it with a bundled package for 270. 00.

Bill,,,So a new moniter you got eh...

I guess its time then for some new screen savers to lite it up. Wow,guess what I have 2 nice shots of the Eberts Lane SS/AA Hemi's for you and will send them off now. Hope you enjoy them... ... Andy

my ol' 19" crt is dying and i need a new moniter... now when 19" or bigger lcd moniters come down to a nicer price [in my opinion -remember, canadian pennies here] and can do 1600x1200 then i'll start looking real hard [the 1600x1200 is the primary stumbling block, all i see are like 1024x720 'ish]
