Well heres what happened (I think). Heading to work to go get my multimeter to do the checks on the regulator. I was going up the highway about 70 mph and all of a sudden all the power to my tachs went dead.

I had no Mph, rpms, voltage, etc. Talk about freak thing cause right when I looked at the gauges it they went dead. All I could think about was a fuse. I have my regulator, Gauges and PE Comp box in the same fuse. So I figured maybe I blew it and had to much of a load. Got to the hangar and pulled my fuse box before I even drove out. Sure enough the fuse was blown.

But now I had to figure out why because I was getting 2nd gear starts before the fuse blew. So as I was opening my hood to check the voltage on the regulator I about freaked at what I had saw.

Oo. My old, yes I say old rubber hose that was for my propane (thank god I dont have propane hooked up anymore or it could of been a catastrophy) tube and also my ignition power wire for the regulator fell on the turbo and melted the ****

out of both of them and caused the fuse to short. But I guess thats a good thing! After getting the regulator wired back up again I check the voltage on it. Over 12 volts:{ Not good. I tried to adjust it and it wouldnt. So I took the regulator apart to see what was inside. Just a curcuit board. But there was water inside the box. So im thinking one of two things happened, either the water shorted it out or the melted wire on the turbo did. Now my question is!!! Is the regulator a special Bill K. DTT transmission thing or can I go to radio shack and get the thing. Guess Ill try to call bill tommorow because I dont like this 2nd gear shift ****

Any ideas???
