2nd gear vibration

Heres the deal-04. 5 six spd manual, 26000 miles

When I take off in 2nd gear there is a slight vibration or possible shudder.

Once I shift into 3rd everything is normal. shudder or vibe is the there in the

whole range of rpm's while in 2nd gear, any ideas, would really like to keep it out

the shop, If I have to take it to the dealer, any good ones between Salem Ore. -

Eugene Ore. I live in Sweet Home. I am probably just paranoid!

Truck is stock except for AFE intake And Aero Exauast.

Some gear rattle is considered normal by D/C,grinding or growling is not

Vibration turned into U-Joints

Took my truck in to the nearest dealer and had them drive it,

I got anything from flywheel to throw-out bearing.

I then had a tech drive the truck after I had warmed it up and drove it the

15 miles into town, naturaly the vibration that was very obvios at deceleration

was now barely noticeable. Long story short it turned out to be u joints.

In the process of removeing the rear u-j they broke my driveline, no truck until

Thursday.
