I Have been driving from Carson City to Sacramento every few weeks and have noticed in the mountains (with no load) in my 2002 Ram 2500. I notice going up hills that my truck would upshift/downshift quickly especially going into overdrive between 45-50 mph. I read a few articles and called a friend that works on my truck. He said that it is a grounding problem to the TCM. So I cleaned and re-grounded the wires to the TCM, and added a new ground wire from the battery to the firewall, at the place the TCM ground wire grounds. No help. The truck shifts normal on flat ground, but I noticed that now it is upshifting/downshifting now in the lower gears while going slower 25-45 mph on hills. Any Ideas? Thank you
