Ok, let me ask you guys this:

If one was trying to increase the airflow of the charged air system, and had a lineup on a wrecked second gen...

What would be good to pull off of it in terms of air system goodies?

Intercooler hoses/boots, intercooler, and intake horn?

Would that be all it requires to bump up to the bigger and better 2nd gen system?

Here we go again.....

I think it would be a good idea to get everything from the turbo elbow on and around to the intake horn. If you compare the two, the 2nd Gen has a lot bigger and freer flowing system, hence, I would think you'd get better airflow, greater cooling, etc. You may have to do some re-engineering to get it to work, as I believe the intake horn is a little farther back on the 1st Gen than on the 2nd, but it should all bolt up.

You may want to get the head, pump, injectors, and injector lines, as well. ;)

Yeah right, I'd get a p-pump engine if I wanted the pump... too much work to convert it.

Anyways, thanks Daniel. I was talking about the whole thing... the elbow, intercooler, lines, and intake horn.
