2nd Gen ATS manifold on 03/04?

Anyone out there running an ATS 2nd gen manifold/turbo setup on a 3rd gen engine?



It seems like this unit would flow better.

Drawbacks would be getting it all to mount up?

Would it even fit?

No need to worry, ATS has a exhaust manifold in production for the 3rd gen truck.

Sorry, after I reread your post I think I may have jumped the gun on my previous reply. It seem's you may be referring to a whole setup including the turbo.

It's been done a couple times that I know of but I don't know where the threads are about it. I talked to a guy in Texas who did it. Wasn't too bad of job but the downpipe is tricky and has to take a hard turn downward to clear the AC lines back there.



I put the 3rd Gen ATS on mine and think it's quite an improvement.

I believe the 3rd gen ATS flows a bit better than the 2nd.

does the ATS flow that much better than the stock one? what are the advantages to the ATS

The 3rd gen ATS flows way better than stock and in particular fixes the poor flow in the stock manifold #4 & 5 ports. That tiny 9 cm2 exhaust housing of the turbo is another story. . .

Sounds like that should be next on the list. Any thoughts on where/who has the best deal?
