2nd gen door sill plates covers

Back in the old days vehicles came with these standard equip.. Is there any 2nd gen people left that installed a set ?. What brand/kind ?. Do they hold up well ?. I am contemplating installing a set since the sills are still exposed and my getting older could hinder my gracefulness.

Back in 2000 or so, I installed a set of sill plates that I think I bought from Geno's. They're still there, the double-stick tape has never let loose. (I thoroughly wiped everything with isoproponol to degrease.) Call Geno's, see what they carried back then.
