Got my 24v manifold on... . and HTT 62/65/12 2nd gen turbo on today, the intake is temporary because all i have is my stock airbox and i had to do some serious modifying! used an HX-40 Downpipe and it fit great... put my 5" chrome stack back on with just a mbrp resonator i had. Sounds just like a 2nd gen... . really sounds close to my kenworth with a c-12 cat and 5" straight pipe. The sound is indescribable, no more 3rd gen exhaust sound AT ALL from idle to 3500 rpm. turbo is nice too... . spoolup is just barely less than stock. All i have left to do is fab an intake with an open filter...





I will get some video so you all can hear the exhaust if your interested

I just noticed your OE manifold was one of the few with the ramps on the collector...

I am pretty sure he was making a joke because of the sharp 90 the intake hose makes. As you said you still have more work to do on the intake side. It looks good, I switched to an ATS 2nd gen style when I did my twins.

Oh, I get it, its his punctuation. You can see the HX40 down pipe right behind the turbo (steel pipe SS clamp), but the intake is 3rd gen rubber couplings.

Rip @ Source Automotive did the the 2nd gen manifold on my truck almost 2yrs ago when his crew put the htt 62/14 it aloud me to keep my exaust brake without beating in the firewall worked out great cools real nice. Randy
