Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 2nd gen oil chng

Greeting's while reading issue #54 pg. #136 it states that pre-2007 engine oil

such as CI-4 and the USLD fuel that you have to modify engine oil change schedule. My question is the frequency I have a 2001. 5 2nd. gen how often should the oil be changed.

I read the same thing last night in my TDR magizine. From what I have read in other publications as long as we used the older oil that we didn't have to change anything. There sure is a lot of mis-information out there.
