2nd Gen Seats 2000 quad Cab

Hi All,



Well..... Finally was able to get a pair of 2nd Gen seats out of a 2000 quad cab. Looking forward in the newly found comfort. Now... I need to figure out how to mount these things. After reading some previous posts, I found that the seat belts in the seat I got is computer controller and I will need to modify how it works. Not a problem here - I am a computer engineer by day, so I'm sure I can get that to work. The biggest thing for me would be mounting the seats. A fellow TDR member has been gracious enough to help me with mounting the seats ( my tools were stolen!!). Before we start tackling this project, I wanted to make sure that I have enough information from other members that have done this conversion. Please post any advise you may have to offer. I am to understand that the 94 seats were easier to mount, but the seat that I acquired to more difficult. Please let me know your thoughts.

My only suggestion is to make sure the seat mounting is very good if you plan to use the belts in the seats. If not, the seat could rip out of the floor in an accident and I'm sure you don't want that .
