2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 2nd gen Thuren track bar

Has anyone used this track bar? I am wanting to know how long the Uniball joint will last? It looks like it is replaceable if it wears out. Looks better and cheaper than doing a 3rd gen swap kit.

I just purchased the exact same Trac Bar for my 97 as an upgrade, all I have read has been positive for a bolt on bar without having to install an additional bracket and I have also heard that the ball was a serviceable design.



Thuren is a reputable fella with some very well done parts, this in and of itself is the reason I went with his company for my purchase, I emailed him on a weekend with some questions and he replied very quickly with answers. Just understand that he has about a 2 week wait for the parts to be readied to ship as that seems to be both the norm and what I was also quoted by him.



I will follow the thread as well to see the additional responses to this question.

I've had a Thuren Track Bar for over 40,000 miles now and no problems

The end is holding up quite well on mine with probably 30-40k on it(I am too lazy to look it up). Some road grime gets in there but it doesn't seem to scar up the joint as fast as I would expect.
